.

When you look at it so simply as the chicken and the egg. We become so miniscule in the big picture.

The chicken.

Leaving the egg feeling unsatisifed.

Not all eggs are unsatisfied. Some are happy that the chicken is happy. :nah:

And the Hobo chicken did lay the egg with a flair that could in fact be rendered total laying.Their claims to be the first to introduce the battery hen egg and chicken coo go a long way to supplement them in the history books.

Chicken, IMO.

Evolution 'n' aw that.

It woudnt be a chicken then.

Whatever the chicken evolved from would have to lay an egg which produced a slightly evolved version of itself. That version would lay an egg which would produce an egg which became a slightly evolved version of itself and so on until we got todays chicken...

Therefore the egg came first.

It all depends on the modern interpretation of what a chicken is.

Maybe we're all chickens? :10900:

The chicken may have evolved, but what did it evolve from and how did this come to be. This is deep.

It evolved from prehistoric bird/dinosaur. Archaeopteryx maybe:o:D

Modern day interpretation of a chicken is widely agreed upon, neave. Apart from in Mexico.

Therefore I win. That or Geoff. I suppose it could have been an omnipotent intangible being.

Are we talking about chicken eggs or eggs in general, as dinosaurs hatched from eggs and they were around before chickens, although the cadbury's creme egg came after the chicken :)

I'm more worried about who was the first person to see where an egg came from and thought "that'll go smashing on a bit of toast".

indeed. the only way to ask this question & provide any difficulty would be to amend it to, 'What came first, the chicken or the chicken egg?'
