Carl Spackler Posted June 9, 2009 Share Posted June 9, 2009 I think if you simply copy the files from a DVD using windows explorer and stick them in a folder on your hard drive then VLC will play them from the hard drive. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ If you want to stream the films over a network then I think you will need to convert the DVD to a suitable file type.
