Am I the only one who's wondering why Zal has 4 red cards, and the other players in the title have 5? :21:

Levein wouldn't have given the service he did to Hearts, if he hadn't got injured, and Robertson wouldn't have given the service he did, if things had worked out at Newcastle.

Spare me the loyal servants crap :57:

well you're deluded then.

Its different times now JM.

From a modern day perspective Zal has maybe even done MORE than those players.

Players might move on more often now but at the same time no one has actually tried to sign Zal from us, it's not like his "loyalty" has actually been tested to be honest.

Only because of the reasons stated in my previous post.

And Craig Levein came from the mighty Cowdenbeath, so I fail to see what that has to do with anything?

I am, and I recall that Levein was about to leave for Tottenham just before he got injured, and Robbo did leave for Newcastle, and only returned because he was a failure down there.

I know that, I've been trying to get through to you that's how it is, and these players only played so long for Hearts because they coudn't get anything better, not because of some love for the club.

We're getting there, so are we agreed they weren't really great servants, just a couple of football players who never managed to better themselves, so had to stay with Hearts, because we paid them more than they could get elswhere?
