I'M IBRAHIM TALL Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Just sat through a 3 minute long advert, watching dandelions floating about, listening to Bob bloody Dylan (surely the biggest imposter on gods earth) advertising the fact that if i buy fair trade bog roll from Scotmid, tens of thousands of Rwandans will be safe from genocide. I may be wrong but us shopping in Scotmid isn't going to cure the ills of an entire continent. But if it did, surely self satisfying adverts that are over long will make us switch off before we get the message. And why is it always John Hannah!!!
