Deevers Posted February 16, 2009 Share Posted February 16, 2009 Prior to being under Social Work Dept. control Springwell House was previously Dalry Girls Reformatory School and before that Magdalene Asylum - as the name suggests it was originally the site of a 'spring' well. It's a bit of an eary place I believe - some of the staff there don't like visiting the upper floors in the building after dark!!
