The 23-year-old central defender is currently at Artmedia Bratislava and Csaba is keen to take him to Tynecastle. ****as has also played for FC Nitra but has been at Artmedia for the last two seasons. Laszlo has identified the Slovak as the ideal replacement for his captain who is set to join Championship leaders Wolves in a ?2.3 million deal. Coventry have also bid ?1 million for Andrew Driver but the winger is not keen on that move. Last night Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov attempted to allay the fears of the worried that there will be a player exodus from Tynecastle in the coming hours. The Russian owner is making his first visit to Edinburgh in months and it was no co-incidence that his arrival sparked off the big money sale of Berra. But he stressed: “The sale of Berra was required but we are not planning to sell any others before the transfer window closes. “I expect more players will move on during the summer and that will allow young players to come in and grow and the club can move forward. “It is much better for us to lose a player in return for money than see Steven Pressley, for example, leave the club for nothing .” Is Vlad trying to wriggle out of any blame for that decision now ?
