Evening,

I knew Fernando Screpis in his short time at the club, I have recently been in contact with him and his girlfriend.

The both wish to pass on the following message to Hearts supporters:

Fernando was very happy to have played for Hearts, The fans and the people he met during his time in Edinburgh always treated him good. He has great memories of his short time at Hearts and wishes to thank everyone.

He is also without a club just now and is hoping to find a new one in January.

Cheers Guys

Ta for that.

Is he still without a club?

Must've been a couple of months he's been out of football now?

Yes a few months, but he has been training very hard over the few months so he is ready to join a new club.

Drylaw Hearts

He was a classic and unfortunate example of the awful way the footballing side of the club was being run.

Thankfully those days appear to be in the past.

Best of luck to him in finding a new club, thought he could have been a decent enough player for us given half a chance.

I hope they are in the past also.

I am sure he would be glad to hear such a nice comment.

I will hopefully have these comments passed on to him and his girlfriend.

Certainly seemed like he was more than capable of doing a job, seemed to have been at Tynie at just the wrong time, which is unfortunate as he seemed to have a lot of ability and clearly loves the club.

Good luck Fernando.......

"There was something in the air that night, the Hibs are *****e Fernando!!"

Screpis, wherever you may be

Your name sounds like an STD

But it could be worse

You could have AIDS and

If you play for Hearts you don't get paid

There were indeed 3 of us together and another 4 somewhere in the Hearts end. Fernando seemed like he could do a job, as I said earlier.

Pass on my best, really hope he gets another club soon.

The People's Chimp

Yeah he was another player who was a victim of the shocking way our club was being run. Looked like he could have done a job and wish him all the best.

Got a raw deal from Hearts and he certainly wasn't in the 'worst I've seen in 30 years" category

However one has to ask why we actually pursued a player with CV already longer than a stair carpet !

I thought Screpis looked a useful player, and I am disappointed in the way he was treated. Please pass on our best wishes to Fernando.

Decent player IMO.

A salutory lesson as to why you shouldnt let your stadium planning application guru scout and sign players

Or is it why you shouldnt let your South American scout run a planning application

Or simply that you shouldnt employ a Pedro Lopez?

Screpis was hopefully the last player to be treated in such a manner by Romanov.

Certainly didnt look any worse than Obua / Ksnavacius / Mrwociec (??)

can't believe he didn't go back to kaunas

He sucked at Kaunas, no one would take him.

Either he's an below average player or he was just at wrong place at wrong time.
