Orite lads, so here it is, the first game of the new year and the first derby.

What do you think the score will be?

I definitly think it's gonna be a Hearts win, as will most folk.

I'm gonna go for Hearts 2 - 0 Hobo's.

What are everyone else's thoughts?

MON THE JT'S!! :D

don't think he will start.

as for the result.

home win 2-0

Creates a dilemma then. Not sure I want Makalamby to screw up tomorrow as want him to start the Cup game.

I find it staggering how so many people think we are suddenly going to start scoring plenty of goals

I'm with you.

On paper it has all the hallmarks of a 0 - 0 draw.

I just pray that I'm wrong :(

Not full of hope for this one im only going for 3, if we had a decent striker it would have been 5!!

3-2 hearts.

Dr. Sheldon Cooper

Hearts 1-0 Hibs. Kingston scoring.

It will be a very tight game, quite scrappy. But we will just sneak it.

We look a bit toothless IMO without Aguiar but they are total pish so I'll predict 2-0 for the glorious with at least one of them being a Makalamby assist.

As a neutral who has watched both clubs in recent weeks, Hearts were the more organised, fitter and better equiped team of the two.

On that basis I'd have gone for a relatively comfortable 2-0 victory for Hearts, particularly at Tynecastle. However, I think the players missing will have a significant impact on the outcome of this game and I'm now inclined to go for 1-1.
