I've expressed myself badly. In no way was I suggesting that people with ginger hair have been subject to the catalogue of prejudice outlined by trotter. I'm all for criticising those who deserve it for their writings, utterances and actions, but I believe using a congenital physical feature pejoratively, (something over which the individual has no control- an accident of birth, if you like), is unfair. Whether or not his parents were married is not for me to say but he certainly is Welsh. Before anyone starts my father was Welsh and proud.
