shaun.lawson
Zola against Norwich. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=FUcSh6B2xF4 Second best goal I can ever recall scored against a team I support - Maradona's second against England being the best. In terms of the best goals I've ever seen, I'd have a top three of Diego (and I'm English: if I ever met Maradona, I'd shake him by the hand for being such a legend), and these two: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzFdc_hJheY http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=h9DltQjBrDk Jermaine Beckford, incidentally, was dicovered by the non-league club I watched while growing up, Wealdstone. The selling-on fee the Stones will get when someone buys him will be massively important: you could argue he's kept them alive.

shaun.lawson
Great goal, but it missed the 20 - odd passes that led up to it If you watch the vid from 0:45, it does show the whole build-up, interspersed with Carlos Alberto's comments. I looked for a version with Kenneth Wolstenholme's majestic commentary, but couldn't find one unfortunately. But you're right: even Clodoaldo's dribbling in the build-up is breathtaking. Eldar Hadzimehmedovic
Van Basten in the 1988 Euro Championship final is one of the greatest goals of all time. How the hell he put it where he did (and meant to by the way) from that angle is incredible. All of these ones where guys take on four or five players before tapping in are ten a penny but Van Basten's was special.
