Both Regan and Bush narrowly missed being assassinated. Regan only because it was a half arsed attempt. Even then, a bullet entered his lung so he was lucky on two fronts. I think it depends on Obama himself,if he makes enemies like JFK did he'll be hit and most probably Bubba Redkneck will be the patsie paraded as the culprit. I think the recent 'plots' against him are signs that the public are already being conditioned to the idea of his assasination by Bubba Hitman.
