Yesterday Scottish football witnessed a new don, no not the sheep from up North but the hoof ball specialist`s WimbleDON who appear to have re-surfaced and started playing from the cesspit in Leith!!!

Wee team nae flair, Fletcher nae hair!!! :107years::107years::107years:

I don't find the comparison to be a good one, Wimbledon might have been long ball merchants but at least they won their national association's Cup in my lifetime. :D

When Hearts beat Hibs 4-0 under Burley, they spent the entire afternoon hoofing high balls up to O'Connor and Konte.

Whats wrong with the long ball , good old fashioned British football at it's

best , give me the direct to goal up and at em style rather than the tipy tapy

along the back line into midfield then back into defence any time

Mackay's 40 yard pass wasn't bad for wayne Foster
