whats up with the F3K

Getting charged to get in

Their ludicrous prices

Putting their prices up whilst we were in the Pub

Shunting us off to a 'side Telly' with no sound

Is that the boozer with Aberdeen shirts on the wall?!

Nah, that's the Rob Roy.

The Fleming's just two minutes up the road from there.

Decent boozer, though the last game I saw there was Scotland getting horsed off Georgia. However, I believe Davey and a few others watched the Ukraine game there iirc, so it's not like it's as unlucky as the Italian speakeasy when it comes to football results.

I think they're under new management.

The guy who used to manage the F3K (Richard, was it?) always seemed to be on the level, and also seemed to have a soft spot for the JTs. I'm pretty sure he's now managing the (godawful) Sports Cafe on the Haymarket.

Aye, that's the fella. He was a good bloke, but I've not seen him around lately.

The policy of having a steady rotation of wee Eastern European dirites for barmaids also seems to have gone out the window.

Can't say I'll be rushing back, and it's only five minutes up the road from me (to be fair, I only ever went there for Hearts and the occasional Scotland game anyway).

The Sports Cafe must have offered him a lot of cash to make the jump - it's truly horrific.

We should go to the Sports Cafe. Maybe a hundred of us can watch it on the smallest black and white tv in the world, with the formula one commentary playing through the speakers again!

Wonder how the caff will take to all the live Ice Hockey it will now be showing...

I'll be there, looking forward to it!

I take it football colours are fine?

Also, what are prices like for drinks? Similar to the F3K?

Colours are fine. Prices are about 50p cheaper than the F3K.

......

Told him to keep away from Chimpos though!

I should have told Dr Chimpos we were meeting in a different City.
