Fraggle
GordonBroadfoot-Caldwell-Weir-Naysmith Brown-Fletcher-Hartley-Robson Boyd-McFadden Swap Brown with Hartley out wide right and I think thats pretty much what we will see tomorrow. Possibly someone else starting up front with McFadden.
richiehmfc
I would go with: Gordon Broadfoot - Weir - Caldwell - Naysmith Fletcher -Brown - Robson Maloney Mcfadden Boyd 4-5-1 or 4-3-3 depending on you viewpoint.

Sherlock
4-3-3 Gordon, Broadfoot, Caldwell, Weir, Naysmith, Fletcher, Brown, Morrison, Robson, McFadden, Maloney. The above isn't my opinion.
Jambo83
Hartley has to be play, he's been magnificent for Scotland. -------------Gordon------------- Clubfoot Caldwell Weir Naysmith -------------Hartley------------- -----Brown Fletcher Robson----- ------McFadden OR Maloney------ --------------Boyd-------------- There isn't much width in that team though so I think Maloney or Morrison has to play wide if it's not working. BigC
Is there a particular thread we should be looking at? Given that the poster has posted the same link on another thread with nothing else, I'm assuming that it's his polite way of saying "This is a Hearts forum... yada yada yada". The same thought had ran through my mind. Obviously the poster missed the part at the top of the page that reads "Discussion about all things related to football and HMFC". Hogan3012
My main worry is Defence, Just not international class imo. Gordon will need to be on top form to win this

Guest Dipped Flake
Would like to see Gordon Broadfoot Weir Caldwell Naysmith Maloney Fletcher Hartley McFadden Boyd Iwuelmo Just go for broke, couple of quick goals and then relax the rest of the game; sort of like one of Burleys old teams used to do:)

Jambo Ell
In an ideal world it would be: Gordon Hutton Caldwell McManus Naysmith Hartley D. Flecther Brown McFadden Miller Boyd But for tommorow I expect it to be a 4-5-1/4-3-3: Gordon The limited ability diver, Weir Caldwell Naysmith Maloney Brown D. Fletcher Morrison McFadden Iwelumo
tommythejambo
If we go 4-3-3 we will get hammered. 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 are the only ones we have a chance of pulling off as Norway are a far superior side to our own. Miller is out so I'd opt for the 4-4-2. Gordon Broadfoot Weir Caldwell Naysmith Brown Hartley Fletcher McFadden Boyd Iwelumo (Not too sure of the boy so far as seen admittely very little of him, but why not?) The main weakness in this team is clearly the defence. None of whom would be in my ideal starting XI. As they are very weak through the middle, (well Caldwell is Lillian Gish and my granny could probably take Weir over 100m) Naysmith is nothing like as good as he used to be, but is probably the best of a bad bunch whereas Broadfoot offers us nothing in any way, shape or form. Carew should have a field day or he isn;t the player I thought he was (average Premiership striker).
