Charlie-Brown Posted October 3, 2008 Share Posted October 3, 2008 Somebody who Hearts could afford, who would be happy to give their very best best for Hearts and who would provide great value for money - previously this was John Colquhoun and Dave McPherson...I'd have to think longer about who would fit this description today. Mendes is a very good player but saying you would sign him is like saying you would sign XYZ Premiership player - the guy cost ?4M and earns ?XX thousand per week - a nice thought but totally unrealistic.
