Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?
Had a rather interesting experience earlier today. Some "chap" basically followed me for several miles on, and off, the bypass asking for a "square go". When he got the chance to speak to me face to face it turns out he was requesting said "squarey" because, and I quote, "you shook your head at me". Not that I had performed a questionable manouver which brought his being into danger - no, that's what he had done to illicit said head shaking. Nor that I had swore at him - which I hadn't; nor that I gesticulated at him - which I hadn't. Bizarre. What really is annoying is that in these situations you basically have to apologise to avoid things getting completely out of hand. Oh, and if said "chap" is a poster on here; here's a few links which I recommend you have a look at. http://hcd2.bupa.co.uk/fact_sheets/html/managing_anger.html http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=kBziW9qQvsc
davemclaren
You should have just driven to the nearest police station to check if he was still eager....
Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?
First set of traffic lights and he was out the car even though he was two cars behind me. Not many police stations close to the bypass. I've got a video rig set up in my race car - videos can be found here http://uk.youtube.com/user/stromce - maybe I should have one set up in my road car. Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?
Dalkeith is not too far. Ironically it was at the Dalkeith roundabout that the situation started. Plus, being an ex-Penicuik lad, Dalkeith is "injun territory".

Did you get his number. Worth reporting him as it could be a woman with kids the next time.
Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?
Sadly no. Couldn't even tell you what type of car he was in - looked like some anonymous Korean re-make job. He's probably in the jails now after someone "eyed up his pint while spilling his bird". Seriously, it makes you think about carrying something in the car to protect yourself. Chances are you'd get done for carrying an "offensive" weapon though. I shall enrole in a Chuck Norris defense class - teaches you how to drop kick through windscreens you know. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=bwnrrK9Fqkw

Arse 'Friends' Dyslexic?
For this line read: "He was much bigger than me and could slap me silly." Or you could read it as - this "chap" is daft enough to follow me miles out of his intended route due to his desire to have a "square go", when I've done nothing to upset him; but is he sane enough not to pull a weapon on me if I get out my car? Ah, but everything is pretty clear cut when you're living in Hestonworld...

I'm in a bit of a "mood" at the moment. You can tell that by my over use of "quotes". Anyway, I'm currently watching Death Race and it's seriously got me thinking about mounting some guns on my Evo. Anyone tries to undertake me and they're toast!
