Too many reasons to list them all, but the major reasons include... Pro-IRA Covering up child abuse Portraying themselves as perennial vicTIMS Latching on to anyone and anything they think will make their vile club look better The plastic paddyness of the fhans The club and everyone connected to it is utter filth. coppercrutch
This horrible PROVEN SECTARIAN club ALLOWED this song to be recorded on their property. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5AXJjY4BTLI "Ooh ah up the Ra" At about 2 minutes in if you can stomach it. They may deny being sectarian today. However they cannot deny they supported sectarianism and terrorism back in the 80's. The EVIDENCE is above for all to see. I actually hope Parkhead blows up. i8hibsh
Jeeez I've stumbled on to Follow Follow All the condemnation for Celtic Fans singing bigoted crap is fair enough But then. I've sat pre match at the Artisan in Abbeyhill and Middletons when a group of our home grown bigots only stopped singing bigotted songs long enough to sing a ditty about Tony Mowbray's deceased wife. Down at Kilmarnock midweek Scottish Cup Tie a few seasons ago, Mark Burchill warmed up and self same bigots let fly with abuse at him including songs about Celtic and Child Molesting. If there's anything as disgusting as Celtic people covering up Child Sex Abuse it's supporters turning the matter into a Terracing chant, or as an excuse for oneupmanship on an internet site. piltonjambo
Unless I'm mistaken the 9/11 atrocities are not relevant to football in the slightest. When were whiter than white then we'll have a right to point the finger and shake our heads. But we're not. Have some Karma and go to bed you will feel better in the morning. Drylaw ... without doubt your posts on this are probably the poorest I've seen (so far) on this forum ... to try and nit pick on an issue in regard to an ATROCITY on the scale of 9/11 by saying that it has nothing to do with football is desperate mate ... you will agree that this atrocity changed things in every day life for every one ... at least I hope you agree !!! The popes passing away however sad, was in many peoples opinion including my own an event that certainly did not warrant a minutes silence at an event which would not necessarily have a majority of people present who frankly gave a second thought to it, it did not change anything for me or my friends and family ... unfair ... maybe, but I and many others don't happen to think so, and of course may differ in your view. I have to say though that you are totally wrong to say it was an incident which caused upset all over the world … frankly again I could not give a twopenny toss about it and I’m not alone!!! You may be correct to say it doesn't mean what happened at Hampden was acceptable though … but I would have to question the sheer arrogance and stupidity of actually doing this when even before the match was played warnings of this were issued and discussed ... To then have this at any football ground , especially at a football match in which we or Rangers would be playing Celtic is at best naive because we and they will NEVER be whiter than white ... but much more likely to be, in my opinion, stupid and ill considered ... or then again was it ill considered? Oops in regard to the question asked ... I believe 269miles earlier post about does it for me!!!

crazy_jambo_2006
You have the minute's silence as your phone's ringtone?! Is that not a bit excessive? Even if someone hates the Pope, is having the wrecked minute's silence for his death recorded as a ringtone on their phone not a bit OTT? I would imagine a lot of women would be a bit unnerved if you're out with them +that ringtone goes off. Whether or not someone values the Pope, there was a silence +imo it should've been respected, at least to avoid HMFC image being tarnished. I was acroad watchin that game in a German pub +it was embarrassing tbh. Also I feel if someone hates another club so intensely (for non football reasons) they are taking football loyalty a bit far. Therapist
You have the minute's silence as your phone's ringtone?! Yes, along with other Hearts tunes. Technically, it's not a minute's silence as it was abandoned after 37 seconds or so IIRC. is having the wrecked minute's silence as a ringtone on their phone not a bit OTT? No. I would imagine a lot of women would be a bit unnerved if you're out with them +that ringtone goes off. I don't "go out with a lot of women". I used to but I am now very happily married.
