Some talk in the office about getting this years sorted.

Has anyone got any ideas for a)venues b)something a bit different.

It would probably be for 150-200 folk and a meal would be good.

Went to the Glasshouse in Musselburgh last year. Food was really really good, particularly good considering there were about 100 folk there. Plus it was free booze.

Get tweeded up and go shooting in the borders or something.

Failing that the 'club house' at fountainbridge for some indoor golf.

The Clubhouse is great. Been a couple of times. The games always start of serious and as soon as the drinks starts flowing and folk begin to get ****ed it starts to get messy.

Good fun though.

You might think it's early but you have to be quick with these kind of things.

The girls in my work have been trying to find somewhere for use to have our Xmas lunch and they struggled a bit.

I might not even have a job at xmas anyway.

We had ours at Murrayfield Presidential Suite last year, and doing same again this year. Gutted though coz the office voted against the fancy dress option

They dont let you dress as Jesus anyway.

Apparently it will offend customers.

I've never been impressed with the Murrayfield events. The bar staff are useless. Spend half the night waiting for drinks.

We went at new year a couple of years back and I swear on my life one of the guys put John Smiths in a glass of vodka and lemonade and actually tried to serve it.
