I've had a great move, mate: it's a lovely flat out in the country, close to the pretty market town of Witney. But rest assured, the show will be back on the road before long - and is it just me, or can I hear the collective membership of Kickback's chins hitting their computers in unison at the awful prospect? :P

Is that per chance the same Witney that has the wonderful river Windrush running through it!!??

As Noam Chomsky recently said "news today lacks concision" (paraphrase)

Chomsky was okay Taz, but haven't you read anything by Henry Bowie?;)

If you run the twin towers footage backwards, the towers stand up again - we need to ask why has the footage only ever been run forwards?'

Sure is! I'll be crossing it via an extremely cute tollgate on my bus ride home later.

Spent many wonderful times down your "neck of the woods" Shaun: Bourton on the water, Cirencester, Herefordshire etc etc. Has an Aunt and Uncle who lived in Hereford. I loved it....good man Shaun and good luck mate!!

The quality of life is what attracted me to it: and I seem to be becoming ever more rustic as a result. Would you believe I'm selling my TV? I'll be able to watch all the footie I want online - and telly seems pretty passe nowadays. At present, I just have a digital radio for company, and am really enjoying the lifestyle.

I was driving around Worcestershire and Herefordshire a few days ago. A submarine may be a good investment.

Aha, there you are. Good to see you back Shaun. :)

Hope the move went well, I'm doing the same over the next few days. Argh.

Glad to see there's no rage or excessive shaking going on in Witney this evening....

To be fair, there was a fair bit of shaking earlier - though only from my sizeable belly, coughing away with the flu I've contracted. :( Kickback therapy and dark chocolate is helping, though. :)

The smiley and the deliberate wrong spelling of Vlad should let you know that this is a satirical comment.

Well it seems the irony-bypass club has a new member. Perhaps you should have clicked on the link to the other JKB thread? Also, please inspect my previous posts on Mr Romanov. I, like a good few others do apply something called "perspective" when commenting on his stewardship of Heart of Midlothian Football Club.

As for racism. Laughable given my comments on the Koslovski thread that cropped up last month.

Given your appalling use of the English language, I think the "Sun reader" moniker would apply to you. Also, if you again check my previous posts you will gain the correct impression that my English sympathies lie with the red half of Merseyside and reading the Sun would not be a good idea - hence I don't do it.

Nice try at a wind up though. :hobofish:

I obviously missed the bit where it said we had a divine right to win football games against certain teams.

The inconsistency of Heart of Midlothian against "lesser" clubs over the years is legendary.

Indeed it is Geoff. Especially in Falkirk if my memory serves me correctly it has never been a happy hunting ground for us. Perhaps a stat lover could gives the details over the last 40 years of going there. Maybe it's the fumes from Grangemouth!!!:eek::eek:

At the end of the season, if we fail to qualify for Europe then this will be one of the reasons.

Results like this are just not good enough, but unfortunately very predictable.

We had a chance to strengthen the team to make a push for Europe but didn't, so we are left with a team full of the same duds from last year that can't defend or score many goals.

So is the 86n disaster down to not scoring a barrow load against Clydebank 2nd last game of the season or the game at St Midden early doors we lost 5-2(I think)???
