Boris
Dave McPherson signed for Rangers shortly before he went to the World Cup. Â I thought his first spell at Hearts was 87-92, thus encompassing Italia 90.

Hearts Heritage
Sorry being thick  It was Euro 1992  Played as a Hearts player on June 3  Then when he played in the finals as a Ranger
Hearts Heritage
Correct. It was the 1992 European Championships he signed for Rangers just before. Â A few reference books have him as a Hearts player at the finals. Â A wee question. Which Hearts player was credited with a cap until recently but never won one? Clue he had the same surname as the player who won the cap.

Hearts Heritage
Kenny Black? Â It was Charlie Cox in 1948; still mistakenly given in most reference publications instead of Sammy Cox. Â
Fine Scottish Wine
It was Charlie Cox in 1948; still mistakenly given in most reference publications instead of Sammy Cox. Â Just to confuse the question even more John Rafferty's book One Hundred Years of Scottish Football has it as J Cox Heart of Midlothian.
Guess The Crowd
I thought his first spell at Hearts was 87-92, thus encompassing Italia 90. Â Indeed. I'm sure I remember Levein and MacPherson both playing together (and very well too) in one of the 1990 games? I tink it was the 1-0 win over Sweden.
