Every time I try to get online I have to use the assistant to get online and ii keep getting a message that there is a network cable unplugged. I am using a wireless connection thru a USB port. Rodge Posted September 12, 2008 Share Posted September 12, 2008 As above, If you are using the wireless connection, you are not using the LAN connection, it will display "Network Cable unplugged" If you want to permanently disable it, you can do it by right clicking on the "2 screens icon" and clicking "Disable" or you can disable the hardware profile in Device Manager Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
