JamboLad
Anyone got a rough idea of the team? Maybe some of you have been to Riccarton this morning? I would go with Kello Wallace Berra Zali Thomson Obua Kingston Stewart Driver Glen Mole Would move Kingston into Central midfield and Driver to the right wing with Obua on the left. Hopefully we will go two up front against St Mirren.
Guest JamboRobbo
Think it will be Kello Thomson Zalklueless Berra Wallace Kingston Stewart Karapidas Driver Obua Mole Team I'd play. loveofthegame
I'd go with Banks (but not happening so MacDonald who was pretty faultless against the Gers) Thomson Zali Berra Obua Chesney Jonsson Stewart Driver Kingston Mole Karipidis no matter what anyone says wreaks of a Vlad choice to me in the midfield- 1 min hes days from leaving, next hes starting every game out of position. And whilst i'd like 2 up front i reckon this is best until Tullberg is fit. In a perfect world Obua would be further up the park but i'd start him in his natural position. Think it will be Kello Thomson Zali Berra Wallace Kingston Kari Stewart Driver Obua Mole

Malcolm Tucker
Well i figured if Jason Thomson was the original Ginge then his wee brother Danny must be Ginge-2 Entirely depends on how you look at it. It may seem as if calling them both Ginge means they are related, however Danny is a winger and nowhere near top team football. Mikey is also ginger, and does play in the centre of midfield, and has played this season, and last. Hence he became Ginge No.2 as he was second to be put in the line-up. Honestly, some people nowadays, nit-picking at every post.....Hobo:rolleyes:

Secondly - you mean like last week when Jonsson played at right back all week in training?` An unchanged team isnt necessarily a good thing if it means the best team isnt on the pitch, or if the last performance was a defeat, or if the last performance wasnt as good as it might have been. Did the team set up last week with Jonsson at right back in the session before the game? Coco
Hard to work out a good team from the players available, particularly in midfield and up front. A poor bunch and so far this is going down as a poor transfer window once again. Subject to seeing the signings of course! My team (as I have never seen the new signings and would reinstate Banks or perhaps even Basso): Banks Thomson-Zaliukas-Berra-Wallace Kingston-Jonsson-Stewart-Driver Mole-Nade With Kingston told that he would have to lift his workrate significantly otherwise he would be for the chop. bighusref
What's wrong with Zaliukas? Been pretty good this season so far. The problem with Zaliukas is the same problem I have with Karipidis, they always give you a chance. I always feel that there is a bombscare just around the corner. Also, I gather Zaliukas and Berra do not get on, that would be one of the reasons I believe that their communication often looks to be poor or non existant. I think ever since Zali said to the media he didn't feel Berra was 'captain material' their communication has deteriorated. However, I don't think there is any doubt they are the best defensive partnership at the club. It's a toughy but I'd rather have Zali than Sives, who hasn't seen 1st team football for a while due to injury, or Rapnik who just hasn't seen 1st team football. In time, they'll get their chance but for now I'd stick with the Lith.
