Jammy T
It would be disappointing if 2 of our "3 or 4" summer signings were keepers, when it wasnt even a key position that needed improving

JamboLad
If we sign Balogh I think it would be good for Jamie to go out on loan for one more season and get another full season of first team games under his belt

Ray Winstone
Why? The norm is No1 goalie, and back-up. One who is on loan from Kaunas and is probably not costing us anything to have. Why not? Maybe Jamie Mac will be loaned out again?

juangoal
With Kello lined up to play on Sat, it sounds like theres a chance that in our opening 4 SPL games we could have played 4 different keepers. A record surely.
Billy the Jambo
Well at least it isnt another midfielder .It is strikers we need though and proven ones at that but as the mad one wont give Laszlo any actual money to spend in the transfer window then we are stuck with what we have got

JamboJen
If we sign Balogh I think it would be good for Jamie to go out on loan for one more season and get another full season of first team games under his belt Jamie may well head out on loan again, although Balogh will only be here for 6 months. I'm trying to think of a club that would need Jamie though. Dunfirmline have Gallagher, QoS presumably have a new keeper, Livi have signed Roddy McKenzie and apparently want Basso. sjh1874
It would be disappointing if 2 of our "3 or 4" summer signings were keepers, when it wasnt even a key position that needed improving Eh? From the very moment Shabba walked into Tynecastle he stated that he needed new goalkeeper/s! Whilst Banks has been solid he hasn't pulled saves off that win or save you points ala Craig Gordon, who knows maybe the new guys might. This is not to say Banks hasn't done a job for us as that would be grossly unfair. All top flight teams have three good quality goalkeepers, don't really see the issue here. Not a huge issue Plenty other positions needed improved before keeper though, thats all right back, left back, 2 strikers - so half way there on those This is a football based opinion alone. Not a criticism of anyone

Striker Tullberg = Striker Right back still a mystery although for me Crazypenis can slot in there nicely
werwolf
We've signed a LB (Obua), we've signed 1 striker (Tullberg) and have another (Nade) getting himself fit. Yes there are other positions needing strengthened but getting the GK situation right is very important. Just ask the hobo's how many games they've lost because of poor keepers. Not a criticism of anyone I suppose we just have to make the signings when targets are available. On the right-back, as far as Csaba is concerned we have a Scottish internationalist on his way back from injury. He will not know much more than that about Robbie other than what he seen of Robbie during our UEFA group stages campaign and Robbie did OK back then including scoring a goal! So maybe that's why there has been no hurry there. A fit Nade with possibly Tullberg or Glen would be like making a signing or two up front - maybe. Which IMO, means scouting the player thouroughly, making sure he's the man for the job, then signing him and playing him. Not signing lots of youngsters, rotating them week by week, in the hope that one of them turns out to be what we want. Quality, not quantity is what is required, IMO. Scott_HMFC1874
anyone not think that mayb Csaba only brought Kello over because the hungarian guy didnt decided straight away, and Csaba knew Banks was going to be the new coach? which meant...we needed a keeper at least for the bench against Rangers,as obviusly Csaba does not rate Basso knew he could get kello over easy, so took him until the deal with the hungarian was done. just a thought? Mon
Possibly Csaba wants Balogh but has now has been 'given' Kello by Romanov. Maybe Balogh won't get that telphone call from Hearts. Time will tell I suppose.

It should read Janos Balogh expects to sign for Hearts. Will he? We'll see. There's no mention of Kello being on loan on the club site. He's maybe here permanently, as well as the new coach.
