Had a rather splendid Indian meal last night, but alas it was in Kirkintilloch. If you're ever near Glasgow, try one of the Ashoka restaurants. If going out for a meal, let me recommend you one. If Indian - So Many, but the best I've had is Kama Sutra on Sauchiehall ST. Chinese - Not been out for one in Weeg City Centre, but there's a few. I havent been to any Chineses in the city centre that were that great, both the Thais are superb though, if your going to the Cineworld theres one behind it thats amazing. Italian - Dimaggio's(SP) Unbelievable, and I aint that keen on Italian stuff. indian, can't see past balbir's or mother india/mother india's caf?. but in the weej you're spoiled for choice if you fancy an indian, but those two are the top of the tree. chinese - depends how authentic you like it, if you like quality, interesting, authentic food, then asia style all the way. i'm not particularly stoked on MSG or gloopy sauces so don't eat much chinese (in restaurants - i'll cook chinese food at home), bust asia style is the business. check it out. Verandha... got a nice North Indian Lamb number, King Prawn Rezela, Bombay Aloo, Dal Tarka and 2 plain rice. Was lovely... although I'm not smelling lime my usual roses self today.
