Why do we discuss hibs so much? alright its funny to laugh at them (ala last night), but I really dont care what they say on their ****ty forum. Lets concentrate on Hearts and the good times that will hopefully follow, rather than talk about that lot from Leith. Most Hibs fans care about Hearts doing **** than they care about Hibs doing well. It's one thing having a laugh when they get humped by Barca, but the obsession with Hibs and the number of Hibs threads on here is way too much these days. One thing that is annoying to me is the fact that every week or two someone comes up with a thread moaning about us talking about the skag squad! They are our city rivals and all over the world teams slate thier biggest or in this case, wee rivals. By not talking about them is almost as though you want to deny they exsist. As mad as it may sound, without them life would be duller than it is. In a football sense! I thought the Barca thread was one of the funniest I've read in a long time. Have to disagree slightly on this one - I do find the Hibernian obsession with HMFC to be pathetic, but I don't think we have stooped anywhere close to their level. Hibs.net is vitriolic when it comes to Hearts, as are most Hibbies - they fecking hate us and are desperate for us to fail. Their greatest footballing moments are Hearts failures rather than Hibs successes. You can feel the jealousy, the venom, the inferiority complex on every post over there when it is Hearts related. Its slightly more jocular over here - there is a massive difference between obsessing about your bigger and better rivals like they do, compared to the mirth making and p**s taking that Hearts fans enjoy indulging in. What is the point of having a 'rival' like them if we cannot rip them at every opportunity. Yes, its akin to bullying the little specky kid at school, but its damn good fun. It's great. Compare the threads on here about hibs, to the vicious, humour free, witless and generally dim threads on tommytankers.net they are sad, pathetic and just 100% rubbish. When we've got signings coming in, matches being played that lots of KBers are going to or when our owner gets his annual bout of autumn madness then we can build up some chat about our own club, but other than the "who would you keep" type threads, I can't think of much else that we've got to talk about.
