Bindy Badgy Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 I'm heading over in a couple of weeks and I'm a bit unsure as to how easy it will be to get access to my money once I'm over there. I've opened up a Nationwide current account as that allows me to access my money without paying commission or a loading fee (they'll still make a nice profit on the exchange rate but that's life). Alan_R Posted July 24, 2008 Share Posted July 24, 2008 I've been to Beijing, awesome place. You'll love it. Definately a bit of a culture shock. I took travellers checks and paid by card mostly. You'll find english atm's in alot of the big hotels though I'd imagine. I travelled about a bit though and got by on mostly what money I could afford to take over.
