Here's not quite a news story for you ...

I was playing football with the news editor of the Doncaster Star paper last night, and he asked me whether Steven Pressley was any good or not because Doncaster Rovers were interested in him ... so he got to hear my views (at length).

and now it seems - no they are not interested any more.

Former Scotland international centre back Steven Pressley has returned home after training with the club and does not figure in O'Driscoll's current plans although he said neither party had closed the door on each other.

He said: "We are looking for someone younger and quicker and Steve admits himself he's a bit rusty and needs to work on his fitness.

"But he is a player with a tremendous attitude and we agreed to keep in touch if the situation changes."

He's at Murrayfield.

Did Elvis and Pantyliner play together at Tannadice?

Surely he couldn't stoop that low.

Only a very bad unconfirmed rumour from vermin.net.

Do you think Elvis would sign for the Hob-knobs DH? Could they afford him?

I think he would sign for them and money won't really be an issue to him at this stage of his career.

I'd be surprised if they tried to sign him though.

Would that make him the first footballer to play for all of the "Big Four" ?

I suspect Doncaster has a happy dressing room and doesn't want it ruined by the rheptile's attitude. :)
