You’re welcome pal 🙂 The energy inside there was something I cannot explain or equate to anything. Was in shorts and tshirt and I came out looking like id just stood in the shower fully clothed for the 20mins or so. Went with my lass at the time and as it was just the two of us we got a local tour guide instead of one of the big companies and were lucky enough to get access to some tombs that were locked that the big groups werent allowed in.

It's on the to-do.

Will wait till my boys are old enough to appreciate it.

Elton sang .... "Sorry seems to be the hardest word".  Very preceptive, imo.    And "sorry" shouldn't  just  be used as a  cheap & easy patch-up to get yourself back onside after  the latest incident or  shouting match.

I think people's expectations of what being in a married relationship should  be like  are often  the root cause of break-ups, sometimes  with domestic violence thrown in.   What started out as largely sexual & personality  attraction is very unlikely to  be enough to sustain the relationship through all the trials and tribulations to come.

Maybe, females are more unfaithful than males.

I will put a cat among the pigeons, and say I think they that females lie more than males. I say this from personal experience.

I'm not so sure. I believe women are more subtle and devious on how they go about it.

I'm talking about the wider Hearts support.

@Jeffros Furios ran a general poll at the last few home and away games and the consensus was that jamesy fae Kickback is universally despised.

The stat's don't lie, jimbob.

The people have spoken.

Maybe men are  happier to stay in an unhappy relationship rather than doing something about it, this thread is genuinely one of the most  misogynistic examples I have ever seen or heard.

men are more sex driven.

It dries up and they lose interest.

When the men stop paying attention, the women get more unhappy at the lack of attention.

Then they think they can get what they used to have with thier husbands- attention, without realising why they used to get the attention- sex- and addressing it.

Its all a generalisation, sure , but there is truth in it.

WIthout sex, you are merely living with someone.

You indulge in your fair share of misandry.

It's not misogynistic to say women are liars.

The misogyny accusation again being thrown about like confetti.

I just wish that women wouldn't use their children as weapons against the child's father when the split up, some are just horrible, bitter, twisted *****, it's a national disgrace how they get away with what they do.

This is a fair point. My kids mother has done this for 15years its brutal yet shes had her csa money every month. There should be a simple working access point  required if you are receiving your money.

I would agree with that wholeheartedly  some women do use their children as pawns.

1. Give me one example, I have been all over this thread in stating both men and women can be at fault.

2. yes it is, it's a prejudiced opinion of women, You have absolutely no evidence to state that women lie more than men.

3. whilst it is being dished out the confetti will always fall.

👍 And a likely further tragedy is that young female  children when they grow up and have their own children will probably do the same thing if their marriage hits the rocks.  Children (even very young ones) pick up on how their parents behave towards one another when the relationship isn't harmonious.

Well now we have AI to provide answers to these questions -

The question of whether men or women lie more is complex and depends on the type of lies, context, and motivations behind them. Research suggests that men and women tend to lie differently rather than one gender lying more than the other. Here’s what studies generally find:

Who Lies More?

  • Men tend to lie more frequently in self-serving ways, often to boost their status, impress others, or gain an advantage (e.g., exaggerating achievements, lying on resumes).
  • Women are more likely to lie in social or protective ways, often to avoid hurting someone's feelings, maintain relationships, or defuse conflicts (e.g., white lies about appearance or emotions).

Types of Lies by Gender

Type of Lie More Common in Men More Common in Women
Self-promotion
Avoiding trouble
Exaggeration
White lies (kindness)
Social harmony
Emotional masking (hiding feelings of weakness) (hiding anger or dissatisfaction)

Scientific Findings

  • A study from the University of Massachusetts found that men are more likely to tell bold-faced lies in high-stakes situations, while women tell more everyday white lies.
  • A 2019 study in the journal Royal Society Open Science found that men were more likely to deceive for personal gain in experiments, whereas women were more likely to deceive to protect someone else.

Bottom Line

Neither gender is inherently more dishonest—they just tend to lie differently. The context of lying (social, professional, romantic) plays a significant role in who lies more and why.

Yes because you arent evidencing that and are stereotyping an entire gender.

Then so be it...

theres other ways I could fulfil my duties .

Chances are that you would also be on hormonal suppression so the drive is gone.

The issue Im talking about is when one half of the couple stops the physical aspect, yet expects everything else to continue.

If you speak to separated couples- in their new situations the women are looking for emotional fulfillment.

The men, not so much, its more physical.

rather go out with a sexy hell cat

Never dated someone I didnt want to sleep with
