Mirror Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I assumed Boyce would leave on Monday allowing him to play tomorrow and giving us a week to bring another in before the next match. Quote

bobby bombscare Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Just thinking of possible teams for tomorrow: Gordon Oyegoke Halkett McCart Penrice Devlin Grant Kabangu Dhanda Spittal Wilson I know unlikely to be what actually happens but I'm just trying to figure out what we end up doing with regards to Rowles possibly being away, Boyce going and Shankland still out. How about: Gordon Oyegoke Halkett McCart Penrice Devlin Grant Mussa Spittal Kabangu Wilson I wouldn't be upset at seeing that starting 11. Would just depend who's coming off the bench! Beni for Devlin later in the game. Vargas on for Wilson if we're comfortable. Forrester for oyogoke? Don't really want to see anyone else coming on the wings to be honest. TheManInMaroon Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I don't see why we can't go out and beat them. They've lost each of their last 5 games. Quote

As long as we can link the midfield and forwards we will win. We don't have Boyce for that now so hopefully we see Dhanda or Spittal in that role. I would prefer to see Spittal in that role because he is a bit more physical for winning headers etc. Quote
Uncle Buck Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I’d guess Beni will come in for Boyce and Grant will be pushed forward one. Rest of the team the same, with Elton getting off the bench at some point. 2-1 win for Hearts. I’ll go Craig Halkett to score from a corner. Quote

rmreido Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Long overdue a win up there..... could've, should've, would've had the last time up there, but for Grants red, hopefully get the win tomorrow, 3 points and start to climb the table. Quote

Boyce wasn’t the long term solution but we are in a tough position and he gave us a bit of physicality and experience, and was key part of good performances in the last 3 games. Moving Grant and Spittal could disrupt the team and as for Dhanda don’t go there! Quote

I get that Dhanda hasn't performed but we've had Shanks in what is his (and Spittals) natural position for the bulk of the season. If we're going to get a tune out of him, that's where we'll get it. Also, I don't think the physicality made much difference as we had that from shanks this season. The difference for me was a better range of passing which I think we will get from other players. BigStein Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I’d want to keep the working partnerships together for this game. Halkett and Rowles, Spittal and Penrice, Forrester and Musa, Devlin and Grant. Only Boyce needs replaced so I’d go: ________________Gordon Forrester__Halkett__Rowles__Penrice ____________Devlin__Grant _______Musa__Dhanda__Spittal ________________Wilson Lets see what Dhanda can do in his position Quote

Yeah we should definitely be concerned what some nonentities and a guy we've paid over a million pounds to are worrying about, we are 11th in the table and hes played the last 3 games. Critchley admitted we could do with him tomorrow. Hopefully it won’t matter but ira just another example if how soft we are. Quote

I am not so sure about us being soft but more about wanting to get him and his high wage off the books to bring in others. He was still under contract until the end of the season remember and this is a chance to get him away now. I think it is quite clear that we are trying to improve the team for the fight we face for the rest of the season and to try and get away from the danger zone. Not sure what the ira bit is all about. 😍 Quote

We’ve finally found a way if winning games and could really be doing with playing the same 11 that beat Motherwell and United. Quote

Big fingers, sometimes type ira instead of its 🤪. Quote
