Anybody else see half time warm ups, those 2 and Kingsley talking to, think it was GMS on half way line, hearts physio (not a fan by the way), shouted to get over to start warm up, Kingsley went over but they 2 dissed the physio, as if to say we will decide, waited until they were ready and when eventually went over had a wee laugh to thereselves, maybe not THE problem but certainly a part of it

GMS still making money from football is incredible, another expensive waste of space when he was with us.

Cost less than Boyce and Halkett have.

That’s true but at least they made a contribution until their injuries, GMS was less effective than McKay is now and that’s being kind.

Allegedly they have had cross words with Critchley.

Scared of hard work probably.

To think Halkett was on the cusp of a Scotland career ,now just a lump taking up a space on the bench .

Boyce is done .

The two are offering the square root of nothing at this time .

Need a good look at themselves .

Not sure I believe the cross words with Critchley. But if so they shouldn’t be in the squad. I don’t believe they would be in the squad

They’ve both had fairly recent ACL injuries. They need games to get fit, they’re not afforded any game time because of the predicament their shite team mates have put us in. And on the other hand the club have also failed to bring in replacements for them.

So we have 2 fairly high paid unfit players, with no intention on getting them match fit and no one better. I fail to see how it’s the players at fault here.

You have to earn your place ,getting fit is the players own responsibility .

New manager you should be busting a gut to get picked,  are they ?

I don't get it either; it's like someone has black-balled Halkett since SN, FM & GF left

Wankers the 2 of them. They know they are on borrowed time, fitness is an embarrassment for a pro footballer. The fans have been too good to some of these players for too long

Commenting on their attitude is pure conjecture unless you are involved at the club. They will be fit. But as everyone should know there’s fit and match fit.

Beni is an example of this. He came back from an identical injury and was pretty horseshit for a month or so. There were the usual shouts of he’s ‘finished’ from the moonhowlers on here. Given a run of games he’s back to his best.

Players need games.

Surely not hard to believe that Critchley has observed some ****ing disgusting attitudes within the group. We've got 6 points from 33 for a reason. They seemed indifferent last night to yet another defeat.

Place needs gutted.

Boyce hasnt really contributed for a good while, as even before his first main injury was off form and missing chance after chance/numerous penalties.

A match fit Halkett is still the best defender we have at the club.

It's not his fault if he isn't getting enough games to get match fit FFS.

Critchley made it clear he is learning about the players every game.

It won't have passed him or his coaches by. Boyce never coming off the bench.

Boyce has already been sussed by the looks of it.

Some will buy into Critchleys enthusiasm, others won't be here for long, so many need weeded out.

Need to get both off the payroll asap.

Boyce is completely finished and wouldn’t even be picked up by a Championship team. Halkett might still have something to offer, but his body is shot to pieces, and you always feel like his knee or hamstring is going to go at any given moment.

He's only 28, that's peak time, his leg's clearly healed

Frankie needs a rest and often has played with a knock, Rowles should swap him out next game after

We need to trust players such as Halkett and build the fitness and stamina

They've played too many, one or 2 have been well overplayed

Correct. You’ve also got to say the same for Boyce. If the powers that be actually did their jobs in the summer Boyce would be 4th or 5th choice striker and only called upon if absolutely necessary. All whilst helping the likes of Wilson and Vargas develop. If that was the case no one would have a bad word to say about him.

There’s probably a good chance neither of them will even get on the bench again. Just leave empty spots on the bench.

I think Halkett will start on Saturday.

Kent and Rowles just isn't working.

So in our predicament you think it’s cool to be laughing and joking with oppo players at HT instead of doing the drills with the rest of your team incase your needed. Leading by example to our young subs?

I would be inclined to put Halkett in the middle of Kent and Rowles. He was brilliant in that position in 2021/22 with Souttar and Kingsley either side.

Halkett has this Season and next; I agree about boyce, I think he has multiple issues and will certainly not be viable at this level again, he just wants to see his contract out and go

So all our subs can just sit there and not be prepared if they don’t think they could have got on. Kent was almost off first half could easily have needed replaced after 46 mins. You know that’s not on but just arguing for the sake of it now

Leave them training with the kids if that's their attitudes.

Let them rot due to lack of fitness so that nobody wants them.

They are both bad influences and

rancid, treat them like that.

Why should a coach be blanked while doing their job, because they don't care.

Stick Halkett upfront and play long ball. Might sound ridiculous but we'd probably create more chances doing that than our current sideways pass technique.

I don't know anything, other than Halkett knew he wasn't coming on against Omonia, so he left before the end; he never stormed out, just left

I don't know what's going on exactly and neither do you

Critchley is on record as watching every game this season. He will know they are not fit enough for top flight and European football. Hopefully this is the end of the old pals act. Some of these players are taking the piss and don’t deserve support.

I’d drop Kent for Halkett right now.

Kent isn’t even half the player he was last season and the games Halkett has come in he’s done well.

Posted

Pre injury Halkett was a solid presence in that defence against balls in the air. Was also comfortable with the ball at his feet. Appeared to be vocal when things not going right. Exactly what we need now.
