Gigolo-Aunt

That Philip Albert goal is a screamer. May not have won the league but they played some great football. Just never had the mental strength that United did when it came to the home straight.

Kind of a different one from me. The Yugoslavia 1992 qual group goals. One of the best teams I have ever seen. Just a shame that they never got the chance to play at EURO92 when their young squad had matured a bit.

Look out for Darko Pancev, he was a TOP striker who never really done it outside Red Star Belgrade. Never happened for him at Inter Milan.

Great choice. Saw that in a beer hall in Stuttgart's equivalent of the meadows.

Suffice to say the place went mental, despite their not being an Argie in the whole place.*

Taking the ball away from a player with the chest is an immense move, but he make it look like the most natural thing in the world.

*Grandfathers er... 'retiring' to there don't count.

Still makes me all tingly thinking about celebrating that goal in the boozer

We should have qualified for that goal alone.

Still, good times.

I think we should give this guy a mention as well... maybe never scored the best goal ever, but it goes without saying if your a keeper and you take all the free kicks and pens for your country, you must be pretty good!!

Also there is somethin rather humiliating about a keeper scoring against you :P, take a look, this guy was wasted as a goalie...

Jose Luis Chilavert!! Legend :)

I think what makes this goal so amazing was the fact that this was not a jammy goal or a fluke. Its not as if he has went to stop the ball and its hit off his big toe and went the way it has. This man was amazing and the class & skill that he had was on a different level. By far the best premier league goal ever

Very poor quality video but awesome goal.

Think after 20 odd seconds you get the goal, its behind the player so it makes it even better

personally ive always thought it was a foul on the defender when he raises his arm across his face :)
