Everyone looked the same as each other back then. That said, on first look, my thought was that, allowing for perspective, the two 'wee' wifies must have been massive. I've also spotted a few folk in the crowd: Cliff Richard is there; I saw Ross Noble somewhere near the middle; David Bowie is towards the right and just in from the left, 3 or 4 rows back, is Jonathan Gullis MP. I see Gullis & Noble. Possibly Francis Rossi too. After a few recounts, I reckon there's 9 non-white folk in the photo. Obviously the 2 old dears are leaving in protest after noticing them too. 😵 Most striking is that lovely wee ornamental white garden fence around the track. Very thoughtful of the club. Quote

It's not going to be Gullis and Noble IMO. The picture originates from 2012 as far as I can find out. Edited May 10, 2024 by Lovecraft Quote

Photoshop has improved in the intervening 12 years. So many of the heads in that photo are badly out of proportion. Unless, of course, I failed to notice in the 1980s that some people had heads that were nearly double the size of other peoples' head. Quote

It's 100% photoshopped. As far as I can tell, the picture appeared in 2012. It's from 1971 / 1972 First Division - Tottenham Hotspur 2 Manchester United 0. Why it's actually photoshopped? 🤷♂️ Quote
