I actually had my dad’s wake in there. Not being a member they were very accommodating because I was local. There’s also the Queen’s Park bowling club just round the corner where I had my wedding party. And of course the Hampden Bowling club down on Cathcart Road which hosted the 5-1 Scotland England game in the 1880s . All great places to have locally - hope they can survive.
