ehcaley Posted April 16 Share Posted April 16 Sad to report lifelong Jambo Davie Moyes passed away earlier today aged 68. Davie will be remembered as an old fashioned hard as nails defender with Berwick,Meadowbank and Dunfermline. Great times at Berwick with his mucker Gordon'Pogo'Smith. Davie was some character who always rowd up his sleeve to show his Hearts tattoo when challenged about who he supported. Facing Celtic the Berwick coach told him pre-match he was up against a fast and nippy wee winger "he'll no be si fast and nippy when I snap his f*'":+g ankle" was the quick reply.
