Aye, that was a cracker from Monty 🤣

tbf though, getting 6th place by the skin of their teeth would pretty much have been something to celebrate for that lot.

Thinking about the recent list of Hibs managers since 2019 - Heckingbottom, Ross, Wee Shaun, Wee Lee and now Monty - the current one sounds the most boring and uninspiring.   He really sounds like he hasn't a scooby, and probably regrets giving up a  cushy job in Oz  to come to Leith.

The players must need some strong coffee just to stay awake during his  team talks.😃

We can get top loan players from anywhere. Hibs have to get theirs from Bournemouth and it is costing them half their soul.

The worst mistake they’ve ever made, and there are loads, was sacking Ross.

Despite what joy they bring to us, I’d love them to die.

What's the odds Ross County can get above Hibs in last 5 matches  - unlikely but you never know - and can certainly hope!

Total losers.

The highlight of their season was the prospect of sneaking their way into the Top 6.

And they were doing that, right up until the dying seconds of their match today where they ****ed it as usual, conceding a 90+4 minute goal that confirmed their entire season as worthless.

Superb stuff. Must be great supporting that lot

Corrrct, and I will say this … Bournemouth wont want them getting players from any other club in on loan.

Lorient loan players from all over, and none from Bournemouth that I can see. It’s not a thing. Won’t be a thing for Hibs unless they have been utterly stupid with the contractual terms

As long as it is mathematically possible for Hibs to go down, there is a good chance they will find a way to do it.

Has it been calculated how much the late goal cost them yesterday?  No derby at ER, no home game with Rangers (or would it have been Celtic; doesn’t matter really?).

So that’s 2 x 20k crowds replaced by whatever a meaningless game v Well or Ross County gets.  They could be about 15k short over the post-split crowds versus what they could have been.  Obviously season tickets are paid for, but walk ups and away fans are going to be massively down.  What do we think?  £200,000 - £300,000 or more once prize money is factored in.   A good chunk of Foley’s money offset already.

Hearts and Celtic both selling out £35 each, rather than cat B prices

£130k in prize money loss. A wee bit more if they don’t finish 7th. Half of what they lost to vote us down !!
