Has anyone on here won anything of note?

I'm highly suspicious of the lot of them.

That's decent for the lottery, i suppose, but 5 numbers.. you'd be wanting more.

Have you continued to play it and won ****all? Prices have gone way up since then.

It was one of the weeks when loads of folk had five numbers. I had my eye on a new gun with the winnings, the cheque came through the post, I gave it to my wife and told her to put it in the bank and get herself something nice, I was thinking of a nice bottle of perfume or a jumper, that sort of thing, I was dreaming on my new Browning 425 or a Berretta 686, she came home with a ****in microwave, fridge and other assorted shite for the house, I had enough left for a second hand Lanber, ****in raging didn't cover it, the ****in cow🤬🤬🤬

If carlsberg did rivals...

I used to buy the odd scratch card until I went onto camelot website one boring day and read that the cards I would buy had an initial print run of 60 million cards! There were 8 jackpot cards in that amount! I buy a lucky dip sometimes when it's a roll down draw.

I've been in it for about 10 years now and pay £10 a month. Probably over 12 grand between us all over that time 😆

Does "like, share and comment" on FB count? Certain a poster on here attended champions league final in Moscow (Liverpool v Chelsea) thanks to Mastercard.

Another mate won a top spec VW Golf with the same like, share comment then won a bloody Lambo with X amount cash to cover insurance for the first year. He took the cash option for that one as the Orkney roads ain't suited for a Lambo.

About 25 years ago (maybe more) we were on our way up to Dundee to visit some family and have a night out and I won 25 quid on a scratch card in Auchtermuchty.  The wifie in the shop said "ooh, we've never had a big winner before"!  25 quid actually paid for a decent amount of beer back then.

My neighbour won a motorhome worth in excess of £70k.

Someone else I know won a car and a motorhome within a year.

Not sure how many tickets they bought but think they were around £12 each.

I know a lass who's grandad won a decent wedge on the lottery. Spent most of it traveling abroad every year and a steady stream of high class escorts. Only found out about the latter after he had passed and his house was full of business cards.

I suppose he just squandered the rest?

I stayed in the lottery syndicate at work when I retired, just in case they won it and filled me with regret.

The only other lottery I take part in is the Postcode Lottery, for the similar reason of not wanting to see my neighbours skipping around outside with their big cheques that I could have also had. I’ve had a few wee money prizes, and a couple of other bonus prizes of household items, from them.

You get the message that they have news about your ticket. You know it's going to be a tenner, but maybe one day it will be a big surprise.

Friend of miners father won £4.75m on the lottery in the late 90s and another friend from my RAF days won an Aston Martin from BoTB.

He kept it for a couple of years until he got married and had kids.

A guy I used to golf with won the lottery in 1995, haven't seen him since. 12 of us used to go golfing to a different course every month and the day this guy won I think was the day the most winners in a single draw happened.

He won about £120,000. I was told he bought a new car and put a deposit down on a house, like I said, never seen him again.

5 numbers on the lottery, same as Dawnrazor I got about £1200 which back in 1998 paid off my PC from Tiny Computers just before the 0% interest ran out and just about had enough for a few nights out left over

Worst thing was that for some reason I was in that Saturday and watched the draw live, I had the first 5 numbers out, gutted that the 6th didn't come in then hope returns as the bonus ball is about to drop then gutted a second time

I feel for you, I had the first 3 numbers on the first ever draw and it felt like I was about to have a heart attack

My last number was 36, the last number drawn was 39 (it may have been the other way around) for a few seconds I thought I had 6 numbers😭

I won £300 quid on a scratch card... Once.

I've won 400 quid betting on the Irish lotto 3 times.

The most I've ever won was 1,300 odd on a 20 team ACCA and only bet 50p.

However, I've probably only broken even since I started betting. I've also failed to cash out for some big money and the other team has scored in the last minutes. That's an absolute gutter btw. Always, always cash out people if you get the chance.

Guy I worked with won a Porsche on one of the raffles😳. I have dabbled since then and managed a sonos speaker and a 6ft Santa for the garden, not quite the super cars, but better than nothing. Spent more than I won though
