AllyjamboDerbyshire Posted March 16 Share Posted March 16 Noticeable that they made no reference to the fact the pie was thrown at Shankland, and not to him, from an opposition (Hibs) support famed for throwing much worse things than pies in Derby matches. The way it was presented it could have been from a Hearts fan who knows Shankland loves pies. It would have been an even better story to have highlighted the fact that Shanks was getting one over on the morons by reacting humorously to a situation that was, in fact, a continuation of objects being thrown on as he was about to take the penalty.
