jamboinglasgow
Just read this from Hearts standard breaking down the squad make up by age and its fascinating. A couple of interesting facts which I didn't realise were that we are the second youngest squad in the league with an average age of 26.2 and have the youngest average starting XI in the league (the only thing is that its not clear if the squad is including Gordon or just every player who has played league minutes so that might push it up a few points if he plays.) Never the less its impressive what has been built under Naismith, especially as the article points out that they have been without a lot of experienced players in Boyce, Halkett, McKay, Haring and Gordon. It will also keep changing next season with 2 of our current 5 oldest players likely away in the summer (Haring and Halliday) and questions on when Boyce will be fit again. AlimOzturk
Great news for the future. Hopefully the squad can stay intact and grow together and challenge in Europe next season.
