A very long time ago on a play called Disco Pigs by Corcadorca Theatre Company from, oddly enough, Cork. Also Enda Walsh the Irish playwright’s first big hit. frankblack
I see that Poor Things is doing well. It appeared on Disney+ last week so I thought I would watch it. Turned it off after 10 mins as it was utter shite. Completely unwatchable arty bollocks. To be honest I could have switched it off earlier but assumed it had to start improving. He did, and he also did some Irish-language work (he's a fluent speaker). My reference is to where it started on screen. If you've met Cillian Murphy, you've probably also met Eileen Walsh, though I don't know if you'd remember her so well. Apparently, she and Murphy worked together on Disco Pigs on stage (but not on screen), and they appear together in the film version of Small Things Like These, which had its premiere about 4 weeks ago.
