We’d need to beat them anyway.  Fancy our chances of beating Celtic in the final

Until we shot ourselves in the foot a couple of weeks ago we had been getting closer to them. Don't write us off this time, Sevco didn't look that great yesterday.

Fat chance. As per last time, we'll get the worst seats ... and sold in an awful way.

Never a bad time for a club statement demanding parity.

The police make decisions on where fans are allocated.

If anything, a better question would be why we're allocated the west of the stadium against Septic given the direction of travel.

On the positive side, if Celtic beat Aberdeen, no matter what happens with us v Rangers, 3rd place gets us group stage football?

Really hope Naismith has a better game plan for this one.  We have barely laid a glove on that lot for too long

Imrie thinks Morton deserved to win the game, he’s an absolute scrote of a guy, so glad we knocked that little rodent out!

Got a bit of time to prepare. Our game is based on possession. Showed that tonight. So when we don't have the ball we can struggle. Next step to compete with them. Celtic away and first Rangers games were actually pretty straightforward because in both cases they struggled to create danger. But semi and last Ibrox game we didn't cope with the intensity when Rangers did create danger.

Will be easy for them to get promoted then.

Shankland felt it was all judo / wrestling with Broadfoot tonight. McFadden saying he was watching Shankland/Broadfoot all night and Broadfoot wasn’t bothering to look at the ball. How come the referee doesn’t deal with this?

Has to be said that Cammy's pass forward just before he was subbed, which led to the Vargas miss, was also a beaut.

Don't want to dogpile but I really think Grant was the problem in midfield today.

The person playing that position today was always gonna get a kicking....literally

The mentality is excellent.  Kept playing football and kept cool heads throughout.  We were always going to win,  per the mentality,  albeit the only danger is losing the opening goal too late to come back from it.

It's by far the toughest draw and requires an entirely different mentality.  We just wont have the opportunity to dominate possession like we otherwise do.  In terms of getting the primary European place it's a good draw.  But we have a team to win cups first and foremost so it's disappointing.

That was a good old fashioned(at times) cup tie tonight. We did what they didn't.

Score a goal. Vargas making up for the sitter he hit the bar with.

Let's go to Hampden with no fear of Sevco.

Not read any of the thread. It was a game we should win and we did. Winning is down to coaching. So happy...my only comment is Naismith seemed so cool and spot on with his analysis on the BBC Scotland interview. Gives me real  hope we're  onto something....

Rocky got away with similar in the last derby. Spent most of the game grappling Shanks.

What Naismith talked about during his talk to fans. Staying calm. Playing the extra pass.

Think in hindsight Naismith would’ve started Cochrane and won the battle in there first and foremost. Grant would’ve had a field day last twenty. They were done.
