My view is a (straight)guy doesn't go out for a drink with a girl with only the two of them unless he has other intentions for her. (i know if he wants too it doesnt mean he will nessecarily get incase the women have a go!). My girlfriend thinks its ok for a guy and a girl to do things just the two of them with no intentions on either side. the rules are the people still have sex drive (eg no oap's lol) and they are not neither are married but could be with someone or single. I think guys will agree with me that although you could be friendly with women you work with or went to uni/college/school with you would have no interest in going for one to one drinks with a woman unless you were attracted to them. so vote please with the two option and please pick the option if your a guy or girl thanks!! I think men of a certain age (40ish?) would probably say that it's unlikely anyone would want to go for a drink with a girl without hoping to GET HER PUMPED, but I believe the younger guys these days will pretend they are just going for a drink as friends in the hope that their enlightened attitude will be appreciated by the girl and thus they may indeed end up PUMPING. I think its a bit sad if you can't have friends of the opposite sex without feeling the need to try and fire in to them at any given opportunity. I agree, I've got several female friends (none of them munters) and happily, without any other intentions, go out with them for lunch, drinks, nights out, etc and count them as drinking buddies.
