Lucky to live in a country with such an abundance of beautiful water I remember a few years back, a fellah selling bottled Scottish tap water on eBay. Radio Forth picked it up and interviewed the guy. He had sold 700 units (mostly to the US and Canada) half of them to the same buyer 😂 If we’ve got one sustainable renewable and valuable asset in this country it’s our water. We’ve got more fresh water in Loch Lomond than all the total sources of freshwater in England I drank out of a mountain stream one time when out hiking. Bloody beautiful and probably the best drink I ever had (I imagine jt was full of sheep shite, bacteria spores and other nasties but it was gorgeous) Edited January 15 by JimmyCant

Unfortunately though, we are still in France. Not for long though, our house is up for sale and we are leaving here sooner rather than later. Edinburgh and Spain beckon. Although it was covering July and August it was still feckin freezing first thing. We got milk, eggs and yoghurt delivered and left in a secure box outside our door. Magic getting fresh, chilled milk for your breakfast.

Does it grind the beans as well or use pods? My experience of using pods is limited, but I can't say I'm a big fan - I love the smell of the beans as you grind them, or the ground coffee when you spoon it into whatever you make coffee in! I just use Italian, stovetop, moka / espresso pots, or our crappy old filter machine - it still makes a decent coffee though. Now, if you've got one of these as well, I really WILL be jealous :

Now, if you've got one of these as well, I really WILL be jealous : You load beans in the top container and set the grind to coarse or smooth in 7 different steps (still working out what’s the best). You can also use pre ground coffee but it has no pre ground container……you need to spoon the ground coffee into a port in the top of the machine and press a button on the bean strength until you see a spoon…….ill just stick to beans.
