I’d have thought Scotland 1978 jersey?

Reason being, they were originally from Glasgow.

I knew that bit. I think it was the colouring of the photograph and the shape of the badge that made me wonder. Having looked at the Scotland Kit from them it’s probably that.

it does match the 78 scotland top and in the last couple of years there was a special edition 78 scotland top with ac/dc on it

I’m sure I’ve read in the past that the Youngs were Rangers fans from their Glaswegian roots. So probably a scotland top, unless George was rebelling against the rest of the family. Of course there’s always a strong chance it could be an Australian sports teams too.

Look at the video I posted above.  Its definitely a Scotland top.  Angus, Bon Scott, and Malcolm wearing it at least and kicking a football into the crowd.

There are more videos of that gig too

My older brother was at that Apollo gig

I'm jealous, but my parents would have been locked up if they allowed a small child to go to it!

The photo isn’t that gig though as George only very briefly played with AC/DC early on and was working as a writer and producer by the time they had made it.

I remember my granddad wasn't keen on it but I loved it.

5 seasons we wore it although I'd outgrown mine long before that. 😊

I'd still say that was the 1978 Scotland top.

I really don't think the family would have Hearts connections, emigrating from Glasgow.

they most likely look similar as i would expect umbro used the same template for both the scotland and hearts tops. and as i said earlier 2 years ago umbro and ac/dc teamed up to release this

AC/DC and Umbro's 1978 Scotland football kit

...a bit disco

Scotland kit had the solid Umbro diamonds whereas the Hearts kit had the double diamonds.
