I've never sent a post card, but I've used a toy rotary phone.

I have used post cards to make a roach for a joint.

Only the terminology. I remember as a kid skateboarding listening to AC/DC, Motörhead, and punk cassettes on whoever’s cassette player had batteries in it.

I used to have a Walkman connected to speakers in my school bag at school, I would make the teacher furious, wondering where it was coming from, then i would turn it off when she got near, then turn it back on when she got back to her blackboard.

1. I can't recall ever listening to music outside on a boom box but then again there's every chance it happened when I was a child. I'd be about 80% sure that the adults would've done this on a summers night party in the 90s but I've just no complete recollection.

Still enjoy the sense of accomplishment in using a paper map to get me to places.

You sound like the rep that used to work for us, he got sacked for taking too long to get around his customers 😂

He was a really nice guy though, i liked him.

My bad. 2. I've never used a typewriter properly unless we're counting sitting as a 5 year old messing about with one my grandparents had.

I can “ touch type “ I went to typing school !

Used a phone box would be one for it for sure!

I always remember checking in the hope someone had left some coins. Sometimes got lucky and found a quid! Sweetie mixture followed.

Computers were very much in full swing by the time I was getting to school. Still remember the typewriter my Gran had though.

Used to love it. Bloody heavy piece of kit though.

Did you never play football in the street or a car park with a boombox providing background music?

Nah, I was a prolific goal scorer, it's all I cared about.

I played 5's with people on here at one point, until a 20 stone beast ran into me.

Did you ever play at a higher level or was that the end of your burgeoning career?

Long story, but no.

I was better than everyone i knew that played for teams though, and they admitted it.

I'm a bit bitter about the whole thing, especially when I see some of the crap we sign.

Who smashed into you and was it intentionally to hurt you? No need to answer if it's forcing you to relive the event.

You must've grew up in a posh area. You were lucky to find 10p in the ghetto.

But if you battered the phone just right a load of 2p coins might come out. Or so I heard.
