Tbh, I quite like James, but on this one, he has overstepped the mark.

I think I’ll start a thread called ‘James’.

Do you think it’ll get any hits?

And, to answer your question - I meant both, in a tongue in cheek sort of way.

I’m Musselburgh and I’ve heard next to nothing about it yet. When things happen here I usually find out fairly quickly tbh.

Do you know if James's family are all right?

Scene of crime / forensics tent was put up?  Maybe just someone's accounts were being looked into.

Any more “ news “ about the “ murders “ ? You seem to have your ear to the ground ?

Few rumours doing the rounds just now. A body seemingly dumped out of a car on Calder Road a couple of hours ago as well as potentially multiple bodies been found in a van in Museelburgh.

OP clearly stated that there were rumours going about. Along with the words "seemingly" and "potentially".

I then posted updates as more information started to filter out.

And "ear to the ground" ? Poor turn of phrase given the circumstances.

It’s a common turn of phrase , stop distorting it . And deflection from your “ scoop.”

I'm well aware you never made it up. That doesn't detract from it being in bad taste in relation to this.

What scoop? Again I specifically said it was rumours.

There was seemingly a person found dead in a Van on the road going alongside the Tesco. No confirmation on of it was just someone at the wheel or someone in the back of the van though.

Certainly police/ambulance in the area of the van.

This.

Quite!

I could see how some would mistake what happened with thinking a body had been dumped out of a vehicle though to be fair.

Please stop mentioning shoes. I have relatives who wear shoes.
