Clark - 6 - Relatively trouble free afternoon's work

Kent - 7 - Shaky start but proved his worth throughout the game, especially in the closing stages

Kingsley - 7 - RCB doesn't suit him but another decent game

Cochrane - 5 - Probably our poorest player on the day. Crossing was awful and defensively suspect

Rowles - 7 - Solid. Shines in a 3

Baningime - 9 - MoM. Ran the midfield, almost like Beni of old, and his pass through for the second was sublime

Forrest - 5 - Main outlet ball in the first half but did little with it. Subbing him was effective (see Sibbick)

Nieuwenhof - 7 - Really good first half but faded in the second. Combined well with Beni and Lowry

Shankland - 8 - Two good finishes. Hopefully the corner has been turned with him

Boyce - 6 - Wasted a great chance in the first half although he did "win" us a penalty, or should have done

Lowry - 7 - Effective link up play and great dummy at the second goal

Subs:

Sibbick - 6 - Marauded down the right flank and took up some really good positions

Grant - 4 - Did well

Vargas - 1 - No time

Can't disagree with any of that.

Good ratings. Completely agree regarding Beni; he looked back to his very best.

I'd maybe drop Cochrane to a 4 or 5. When he is going to learn to stop giving penalties away or stupid sending offs?

Bit harsh. The ball was smashed against his arm from a yard away!! Although I kind of agree, he doesn’t seem to have a habit of ending up involved in stupid stuff

Clark - 6 -Nothing much to do

Kent - 8 - Supreme in the air

Kingsley - 7 - Did well

Cochrane - 5 - Erratic

Rowles - 8 - Solid. Seems to have put the demons behind him

Baningime - 6 - One great pass but off the pace for much of the second half

Forrest - 4 - Was outpaced regularly. Rightly hooked

Nieuwenhof - 8 - Best midfielder

Shankland - 8 - MoM. Two great goals and great skills throughout

Boyce - 6 - Unfortunate. with the penalty but battled hard

Lowry - 7 - Adds a different dimension to our team

Subs:

Sibbick - 6 - Never put a foot wrong

Grant - 4 - OK

Vargas - 1 - No time

I agree it wasn't from far out, but he needs to be smarter and keep his arms closer to him. He's still young mind, but he's got to learn quicker.

Shanks did well despite being relegated to midfield by Boyce, as some on here put it.

I don’t think Cochrane deliberately handled the ball. You’re being a bit harsh.

Missed the first half. Hoff, Beni and Sibbick stood our for me today.

Clark - 6 - Very little to do

Kent - 7 - Grew into the game and was key at the end

Kingsley - 7 - Solid game despite playing in wrong position

Cochrane - 4 - Off the boil just now

Rowles - 8 - Excellent throughout

Baningime - 8 - Good to see him play so well again.

Forrest - 4 - Why are we persisting with him. He just isn't good enough. Full back had him on toast

Nieuwenhof - 3 - Started off bright, but quickly grew into the stealth jersey. Invisible 2nd half. I thought Boyce was slow but this guy is something else. Not fit for purpose. Can't believe he is in before Devlin.

Shankland - 7 - Two good goals, but anonymous first half, due to playing in some bizarre midfield role.

Boyce - 5 - Slow

Lowry - 6 - As frustrating as ever. Clearly has ability and had a pretty good first half, but needs to keep it simple sometimes

Subs:

Sibbick - 6 - Made a difference.

Grant - 2 - Like throwing the towel in

Vargas - 1 - No time and looks a bit lost

Beni was sensational. Legs not quite what they were so will find ibrox and parkhead away tough but in these games he’s superb

Most handballs are not deliberate, but Cochrane has once again given the referee a decision to make, which can be avoided by being smarter (or in this case, make sure arms are completely by your side).

Some of the Beni/Calem ratings are comical - how Beni could be a 6 and Calem 3 is beyond me.

Beni a 7/8 for me and Calem a 7. The combinations with Lowry was a class above what we’ve seen.

Cochrane probably a 4/5 for me. Not sure what’s going on with him just now but he can’t seem to get going this season and still makes too many mistakes which makes ref an opportunity to give decisions against him.

Kent / Rowles / Kingsley strolled it.

Cochrane taking a bit of stick. Agree not his best pperformance but again he is a player returning after injury, guess it just means he joins the list of players to get slated in this way this season. Kingsley, Baningame, Haring and Nieuwenhof that I can think of , off the top of my head.

My ratings not that much different from original poster with a tweak here and there.

That particular poster has had it in for Hoff since day one. Even if the lad had scored a hattrick he'd still find a way to have a dig and give him a ridiculous rating, it's his bit.

No quite sure why Boyce seems to be getting singled out as being poor from some folk, I thought he was good.

Should've scored, he's tried to be too cute by reversing it into the corner rather than just making good contact but overall I thought his play was good.

Few good linkups with Lowry and Shankland.  Was unlucky not to get a penalty. Kept the ball well, pressed well and won fouls to take the pressure off.

I think you're spot on.

I'm not convinced that Boyce and Shankland belong on the pitch at the same time as neither gifted with lightning pace (Boyce worse than shanks to be fair). But in terms of link up play, taking the ball in tight spaces and using gyle to win free kicks and pens, he's a good player.

I think if we were to rest Shanks and put Boyce in shanklands space for say a ross county at home in the setup with a quicker player alongside him that Shanks likes, I think that's where he would be great. Not as good as shankland and never going to score as many goals, but about the best like-for-like backup for your best player (and captain) that you'll get at this level.

His shooting is abysmal. Never seen a striker Sclaff so many shots at goal. I’ll give you his hold up play is decent but it tends to slow us down some of the time. Good sub to bring on in some games.

Was it Boyce who had a chance to hit a shot first time, late in the first half from inside the box, right side?  But decided to cut back inside and was closed down and eventually had the shot many seconds later blocked?   If it was that's Boyce to a T!
