A bit lower in terms of prestige than I expected him to land but he'll be paid well there. That'll get him off our payroll as well.

The Tampa Bay area is a fabulous place, despite Florida going over the cliff edge politically into bonkersland recently.

Someone remind me whom I lost my bet to?

I thought we were paying him for the next 3 years. 😂

Thankfully this will mean we don’t have to keep paying him to sit on his arse.  Has he taken Jig with him as well or we still going to be paying him?

Maybe that’ll be the constant posts about him from both sides over now

Wishful thinking but they are still going on about Stendel ffs.

Surprised at first he took a USL job but makes sense on further thought. USL clubs are well resourced, have growing crowds of enthusiastic fans, and very little pressure. Tampa Bay is a great place and totally different than what he is experienced in his life.

He will get a chance to stay active with teams and coach up young talent. If he does a good job, he will quickly be on radar of MLS clubs and UK ones. Rooney turned a very frustrating DC United stint into Birmingham.

Good for Robbie. If he attacks this job with passion, it can lead to big things while he has a lot more fun off the pitch than he probably ever has had as a player. I hope he does a really good job.

Maybe Perry Kitchen can do a pre-retirement stint there!

Poor fans.

Having to watch eye bleeding football and his shite tactics.

Christ who else did they interview for him to get it.

Pmsl.

The irony of Bob talking about the next level. Poor Tosh.

Maybe he meant the next level down ?

Good move for him in terms of location and getting to experience a very different challenge.

Interesting that he replaces Nicky Law who it looks like was appointed in the summer, returned to the UK to renew his visa and hasn't returned.

Or booking a vacation to Florida!

Great move for him from a life experience and standard of living standpoint. Hope he thoroughly enjoys it.

Not quite the English Championship move or top league in Holland or Belgium predicted by some though!

Now, who can we send there on loan to get them off the wage bill? Think Halliday, Boyce and Haring might add something to their squad!

Interestingly (or maybe not) Norwich had an affiliate deal with Tampa Bay up until recently which I think was in place when Savage, McAvoy etc were there. They used to loan youth players etc.

Good luck Robbie. I appreciate what he did for us — twice! got us back from woeful to something far more respectable. Also some memorable games. I loved the championship season.

You can’t please them all it seems 😂

All the best to Robbie. Didn't work out in the end but no denying he was a good servant for the club player and manager and always spoke highly of the fans. Had a massive interest in FOH and always championed it when he could.

Good luck to him, abuse he got from some was way OTP.
