Three wins out of the last four. A cup semi final to look forward to.

It is pretty clear that Naismith is a man with a plan and Hearts are moving in the right direction.

Naisy must beat Hibs next week or your statement may look a bit premature.

We need patience, there will always be games like St Mirren last week. We support hearts after all, who have been awful away from home from decades. We need some big results and performances in the next couple games at tynecastle and to try keep getting results away from home to keep us hunting for automation group stages.

I not onboard yet. We really have not improved much, if at all. But that is just my opinion plus I only watch streams I am not going to games and you see a lot less watching a streamed game IMO.

These threads are a bit silly. One week out and the next in.

100% correct.

Winning breeds confidence though.

But most definetly one game at a time.

Strangely its the home form that's caused real concern so far. On the road Naisy has us performing better than usual, 2 away wins in the league and a difficult LC win v Killie. Had we won our home games, as we'd normally expect, we'd be sitting second with a chunky gap over Hibs and Aberdeen.

A week ago, I thought Naismith would be getting sacked tonight.

He's pulled it out of the fire and a win next week will do all of us the world of good.

Glamorgan Jambo

Still a scatter gun approach to team selection and tactics which will just confuse players. Having said that delighted for him and the players with the last two results. Would have been ridiculous to let him go so soon.

Look, the issue isn't Naismith. It's the board the way the club is run and the backhanders to budges brother!

The cash cow went out the door with Romanov.

I fancy us to be good with Naismith, but we need a change at board level.

Steady.

2 good RESULTS this week but 2 very mediocre PERFORMANCES that got them. Now, I'll always stress that the former are the be all and end all so I'm pleased for him and especially for our traveling support but let's retain some perspective here. Ross County are utterly dreadful and anything but a win today would have been a disaster for Naismith and the board given what is ahead over the next 4-5 weeks.

Next weekend is a huge match for the coaching team and indeed the payers. He really needs a win, after a rubbish effort in his first game at ER and a game spoilt by Cochrane's idiocy in the last game of the season - where at least we did show fight. But next week we need to be vastly superior than we have this week, despite the results, as Hibs, regardless of what anyone says, possess way more threat than either of the sides we've beaten. Hopefully we have a player or two back although apparently that's far from certain.

If he can win the pressure lifts some what for the 2 back to back against Celtic and Rangers but he needs a win. Then you can start using words like "trust" a little more freely. Right now, he can breathe a little more freely but that's about it!

Some seem desperate for him to fail.

Win, lose or draw I doubt he’ll be getting sacked off the back of next week’s result, no matter how much that upset you.

The last 2 games he has made the subs at the right times and pretty much pulled 2 victories out the bag.

On your point you could also argue that he could have started same subs but not to say the game would have went the same way.

Tbh I like that in a way though in that he is at least watching the game and seeing where things arent happening and changing things accordingly.

Got to laugh at every ****ing idiot alive who blame Naismith for the away derby.  Hours after he took the gig. Do you realise how moronic that is?

Do you not for a second stop to think of the players we don’t have available?

Actually posted that specific sentence fully in the knowledge you'd respond

If you think any Hearts team should get away with that type of performance than that's on you chief! Some what a worry your comment as next weeks lineup won't be any stronger than that.

Bazzas right boot

October will make or break  Naismith.

Were we are in the league will determine what happens next.

If we're in about or close to 3rd we'll be doing well,  if we struggle we could be bottom 6 and change will be needed.

Very reasonable outlook.

Think we'll be struggling to be 3rd or 4th but other than the Aberdeen result today was a good day. Next week is a biggie at Tynie. Can put the vermin in their place before they also play Rangers and Celtic back to back.

How many injuries do you think we need before It can feasibly be held up as a mitigation? Another 2 ? Another 6? 10?

the reality is we are seriously weakened and it’s simply just moronic to suggest it’s not a factor .

It will be hard for us next week missing Gordon, Cochrane, Atkinson, Devlin, Halkett, Tagawa, Mackay, Oda (8 players who arguably start) against a near full strength hibs.

They really are.

They had a planned night of everyone oot all lined yup as they bashed away on their keyboards in a rage

Hearts winning has ruined their night, at least they are posting tho, others seem to mysteriously go quiet after being very active all week.

Absolutely, everything is high or low, nothing in-between. Is it a generation thing, an intelligence thing or a bit of both?

clearly some have made minds up.

Will just quietly hide until we inevitably have a bad result and claim they were right all along.  We have some absolute weapons in our support

Injuries might hurt us v the better teams, I am not confident,  but live in hope.

I think it’s just an internet thing. There’s probably always been fans who are on a high one minute and ‘sack the lot of them’ the next. Sharing you’re thoughts with the mrs when you eventually roll in fron the pub after the game or posting them on here is the difference.
