Seeing games in Madrid

Does anyone know about the Spanish league calendar?

We're in Madrid early in October and if possible I'd like to see a game during our stay.

Similarly anything about buying tickets or arrangements for games would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance.

I've been looking at this as I work in Madrid on a regular basis (unfortunately just started at the tail end of last season)

If you want to see Real, you can buy tickets thru their website but from what I understand they run a membership scheme which allows you first dibs on tickets (I think its expensive to join)

Tickets for general sale range from stupid ?100+ to just over a tenner

Barca v Real Madrid, Sunday December 14th.

Flights are less than ?40 leaving on the sat morning and returning on the monday with ryanair.

Anyone know how easy it would be to get tickets and if this date is likely to be changed for any reason?
