Clearly targeted by Roma today, fouled seven or eight times and offered no protection by the referee. Still managed a very good assist for the second goal. Roma under Mourinho really are a hideously cynical shower away from home. Their antics in the latter stages of the Europa League last season destroyed games completely, and there’s no change this season.

I thought Roma looked terrible last night. Milan were miles off it for most of the game and they never laid a glove on them until the pen and 5 minute onslaught after it.

Conte would be a great appointment for Roma but also seems to be linked with Milan and Napoli jobs.

Nice to see a new team (to top level European competition) stepping up in Italy ahead of the usual suspects, but Motta might not be managing them next season, and Lewis Ferguson (and others) could be sold, so might be a totally different team next year.
